Tranformers 10th Anniversary Poster

Promotional poster for the release of

Transformers Last Knight celebrating the 10th anniversary of the franchise.

This one was a lot of fun and a lot of work, to be honest, I'm a Transformers fan and I couldn't pass up the chance to work with Transformers, I mean, I grew up watching the old G1 cartoon and I remember that show being awesome, although it's been a while since I've seen that.

Anyways, the goal here was to create a poster showing a an assorted collection of Autobots and Decepticons from the 5 movies in a style that lent itself to such a project yet could convey the design and feel of the Transformers we've seen on film. It was an interesting challenge as they may seem overcomplicated and random at first, but once I got into it, there's a lot of thought put into the bots, you can see a pattern to help differentiate Autobots from Decepticons and even some bots from completely different factions. While the Autobots have somewhat smoother, rounded forms with human features the Decepticons have more angular designs, adding a level of animal features to them. All in all, it was exhausting but fun.
