POP CULTURE PORTRAITS
I'll start off by saying... yes, these are SO obviously inspired by the art of the incredible Mike Mitchell, he's probably one of my most favorite artists and main inspiration, his art is what made me want to get into digital painting, so yes, saying he's a big influence on me is a major understatement.
Anyways, as I try to grow into this digital painting style I wanted to practice creating portraits of characters and people I dig, so without really a consistent theme throughout the series I just choose whatever I feel like painting whenever I have a bit of spare time and I just go a it. Hopefully you think these don't totally suck.
