I was commissioned by Lucasfilm through the Poster Posse to create the official poster for Star Wars Revenge of the Sith for the Disney+ platform as part of the May The 4th celebration. My poster was featured as the official cover of Episode III from May 4th to 9th.
It was a great honor to be part of such a talented group of artist selected to participate in the celebration of such a fundamental franchise, needless to say this was a dream project as Star Wars has been a constant presence throughout my childhood and adult life,first as a fan and now thankfully as an official part of one of the biggest franchises ever.
The project was intense but infinitely awesome and the people at Lucasfilm were incredibly supportive and amazing to work with, offering such on-point advise. Even the legendary Kathleen Kennedy gave her approval to our work. We were also featured on a post on the official Star Wars site and an Amazon store was set up so fans could buy merch with our art. It was such a great experience.
I wanted to create a piece that lived up the storied franchise while honoring one of the most intense and fun episodes of the saga, hopefully I managed to achieve that.
